LIQUID ANTICERNES & CONTOURING

WHAT IS CONTOURING?

The most important characteristic of the contouring makeup is the ability to cover imperfections exactly like you would do with a regular concealer and foundation without creating a “flat effect” but rather creating volumes and tridimensionality with simple (so to say) lights and shades game.

• Contouring of a round face: start applying the LIQUID ANTICERNES CONTOURING 1 on the chin and the upper part of the cheekbones and proceed to shade it from the cheeks downwards and the towards the sides of the face. Finally apply a small amount of Top Cover compact blush of the desired shade on the cheeks and shade it.
• Contouring of a square face: first step is to apply the LIQUID ANTICERNES CONTOURING 4 on the jaw area and on the external part of the forehead. Proceed then with the LIQUID ANTICERNES CONTOURING 1 and apply it to the center of the chin and on the forehead while using the Top Cover compact blush of the desired shade on the cheeks. Shade it evenly using the fingers in circular motion without moving too much upwards.
• Contouring of an oval face: using the LIQUID ANTICERNES CONTOURING 4 darken the forehead, the cheekbones and the jaw making sure not to get too close to the nose and mouth. Once done, apply Top Cover compact blush of the desired shade on the cheekbones tracing an horizontal line until the center of the face Finish with LIQUID ANTICERNES CONTOURING 1.

As we said contouring can be done not necessarily on the whole face

For the nose contouring you will be able to soften even the more important nose by creating very well shaded lines on the sides and the tip. If you are correcting a double-chin problem you can do so by darkening the area and you will see it disappear: if you highlight the upper part and darken the lower area you will lift the cheekbones up.
